Crystals are pretty to look at, but did you know each crystal also give off their own frequency to help you heal, attract, protect, and amplify your intentions?
Crystals are magical in that they will pick up any energy hanging around them. They don’t discriminate either, they will absorb both positive and negative energy with equal fervor. Remember that fight you had with your spouse right next to your shelf of crystals? Well your crystals will for sure pick that up. For crystals to work properly and at their maximum effectiveness, you must properly cleanse them regularly.
See my post on 7 simple and effective methods to cleanse your crystals. But today I want to talk about one of the most common ways of crystal cleansing, using the energy of the sun. Using the energy and cleansing powers of the sun is one of the oldest ways to cleanse crystals, but this method should not be applied to all crystals. Some crystals’ colors will fade in the sunlight, and some others will become brittle.
To make it simple for you, I have complied a list of crystals safe to be cleansed by the sun, as well as a list of crystals that should never been exposed to direct sunlight for an extended period.
